The wall past the shower now is enclosed to create the needed closet storage and hang towels at multi-levels. A custom multi-functional table for this mountain house! It serves as a dining table when the couple has guests . The two chairs in the photo become host chairs and other chairs in the home become side chairs. Chair upholstery was chosen so the dining table and chairs look cohesive and intentional. Note there are no unsightly cords for the lamps. This was intentional. The lamps were customized so that the plugs and cords come through the lamp bases. Holes were drilled by the table-top fabricator so the cords came through the table top and into the hollow base where outlets where mounted at the base of the table. The success of this design took a lot of communication between me and the wood and iron craftsmen. The lamps are tall so as to not impede guests' eye contact with others while dining. All of us are thrilled with the look and functionality of the table!
